  1. Hi Russ, do you mean what was it’s original use after passenger workings ? Some of the 114’s became Parcels units, hope this helps, apologies if it’s not what you meant. Beat regards Craig
  2. Bore da Mr P, did someone have the carers get them out of the wrong side of His NHS approved hospital bed this morning ? ;-)
  3. No F’in Bubble Cars ….. 👎 you don’t know what you are missing out on Mr P 🥸
  4. It needs a Bubble car or a 1st gen Bogcart to spice up the variety, get it sorted Mr Peter’s !!!! 🤣
  5. Hello Rod, a fantastic day indeed was had …. Yes I was caught out by the speed steps changing !! But none of the trains I was operating had any impact infringements !! Unlike @gismorail with a run away Peak … or was it you @DmudriverRod ? 🤣 anyway definitely cannot wait for the next session. Diolch yn fawr iawn Thank you “very big” Craig
  6. Such a shame all the previous images have disappeared ☹️. Best regards Craig
  7. Mark, I have a 122 unit, I bought it cheap from Hattons pre-owned as a poor runner, I found in one of the motors, the spindle shaft has excessive back and forth travel, so much so it was getting excessively hot, so something is amiss inside. i have taken the motor out, the unit runs fines on the other motor. Best regards Craig
  8. surely Heljan could scan some of the 126 at Bo’ness, as they are a related unit. J&M Hughes do a 120, I have a couple of pairs of their resin cabs, I am sure if Ben liaised with Micheal from J&M he could knock up a 1:1 version for Heljan to scan ? 😉. Craig
  9. I sent a faulty 121 one back in July, they sent me a print off label, to go with a courier, Parcels2Go, IIRC ? And even offered to post a label to me, if I didn’t have the print facilities. i took it along to the nearest Parcels2Go place to me, which was a Garage, all sorted fine and dandy, no problems, refunded within a week. Best regards Craig
  10. Lovely stuff Nick, it’s coming along nicely 👌. Best regards Craig
  11. Just a note, some banking apps allow you to use your phone to photograph a cheque, and then it will be processed through your account. So you may not have to go into a bank branch after all. Craig
  12. I picked up one of the ground cabin kits, it’s lending itself to loosely being made into a LSWR “thingy” for my 7mm project. It sits on a scratch built stone base, made from Wills 4mm coarse stone sheets, the steps are a 7mm laser cut kit, again bashed about a bit. it’s a great little kit for the money, and Peco’s interior kit is nice as well. i do have one of the Laser brick kits in the stash, but I haven’t even opened that yet Craig
  13. Hopefully attached below, is a photo of the HST on their stand, I took it at Guildex earlier in the month. it looked very very good. Craig
  14. Dear @Pete Harvey, your items are excellent, but is there any chance you can offer another method of payment instead of cheques please ? Surely Bank Transfer must be an option in these times now please Pete ? Beat regards Craig
  15. Lovely stuff as usual Mr P, coming along nicely.
  16. What’s not to like ? There are People with good painting skills out there, if you don’t feel up to painting your beloved models 👍 Pictures from Peter Clark’s website Craig
  17. Hello Bryn, not sure if you have seen Chris Turnbull’s Cromer layout, he has a few scratch built 2nd Feb items on there, may be an inspiration to have a go at building yourself something ? Best regards Craig
  18. Hello Bryn, we was discussing this at Guildex on Saturday, seeing as Dapol has a 63’ chassis on the market now, and it is soon to be joined by Heljan as well. I did mute the 153 would be a good start, if you like kit building, Peter Clark Models does do some of the 2nd gen range in his kits. i would imagine it may only be a matter of time before a RTR model is announced. Best regards Craig
  19. Hello Mr P, nice improvements, defo better visually and operationally. Can I suggest some stock variation ? May be a 205 2H, or a …… wait for this …. BUBBLE CAR ? 🤭 you know it makes sense ? 🙃 PS sorry we missed you at the Stafford GOG show today !! It was said you was seen leaving there with 2 x Dapol 08’s, a selection of O gauge wagons, 3 x o gauge Peco points, and a box of 12 yards of code 124 bullhead flexi track !!! something Ian Futers in the pipeline ? Craig
  20. Hello, I am after a Heljan Class 37/0 in green, centre headcode type, preferably with full yellow ends, but happy to discuss small yellow warning panel offerings as well. Please message me if you have anything for consideration? Best regards Craig
  21. Trewithen still needs a Bogcart …… 😇
