  1. Who's been a busy boy? Plenty of new stuff for our upcoming exhibitions!
  2. Thanks for this James, wonderful job. You'll need to tutor me, as there are another 27 to weather!
  3. James, We could put the tanker on the road indicating to turn into the petrol station ? No chance of doing it for Showcase but could be ready for Fareham, what do you think?
  4. Hi Andy All the best to you and Debbie in your new home up north. That just leaves Mr Clements and Mr Carter to chat to at Patcham in November! I'll keep up with the progress on Olympia and hope to see it in the flesh at a show in the future. Keep up the great work
  5. Thanks Chris - things have calmed down a bit now so should back to normal for set up on Friday afternoon - but it might be a different kettle of fish come Saturday morning though.
  6. Mr Makin - perhaps that's not my best side
  7. Dave As a Brighton lad myself I must congratulate you on how well you've captured the atmosphere of the Freshfield Rd area. The model of the RSCH is particularly superb. I can't wait to see it at Burton next week.
  8. Further update: On 10th April we successfully completed a full circuit on both up and down lines. Now that the power to the track has been completed all the ancillary electrics can begin - further updates to follow.
  9. Latest Update All the track now down in the fiddle yard and on the new scenic boards. Time to get the wire and soldering irons out, start wiring in the power and install all those point motors. Hope to get some pics up later in the week.
  10. Hi All An update on progress with the Loftus Road upgrade, The week before last Mark Butcher brought the shiny new additional baseboards to the WMRC clubroom. This Thursday was spent attaching adjustable feet to the legs and temporarily erecting the boards to ensure they aligned correctly. This was just a formality as we were confident in Mark's carpentry skills. The layout now looks absolutely massive although it's footprint has only been extended by 12 inches at the rear due to the larger fiddle yard. Some pictures were taken on the night and I hope to get them uploaded as soon as I've figured out how to do it. Up next is to agree the trackplan and fit the alignment dowels along with the 'T' nuts and fixing bolts. Regards Pete
  11. Hi Darren The track is PECO code 75 and the 3rd rail is PECO IL-1 Code 60 Flat Bottom Rail on IL-120 Conductor Rail Chairs. Thanks for your kind words Regards Pete
