And we arrive and start to pass through Encombe Town station. What a relief that they made it! Bet you've been on the edge of your seat with excitement?

The roof is trimmed and fitted. Colour is undercoat only. Whilst typing this is the underside the roof and two tips I wanted to point out. I cut the index card to actual size so it acts as a template when trimming the roof and don’t forget to paint the exposed edges as it’s a pain when fitted.

Ordinary wood PVA in this instance loosened a bit with some water, not a lot just a bit! to make it flow better.

Tiling has commenced to pub extension roof. Front slope made using my tried and trust method of making roof tiles. Need it to cure and it will curve but I will deal with this later

And off we go. With his foot firmly on the throttle the driver winds 4589 up to a breath taking 20mph as they speed over Overbrook Viaduct. Onwards they charge Exhilarating

As the excitement mounts before the departure of the express freight train I decided to take some reference pictures of the town of Little Muddle with the all the buildings back in place to see what it looks like. I have to say it seems to be working rather well and the backscene alterations has also been worked out, well I think it has so I will do a dry run before posting. Now to get on with the tiles roof....
