  3. Many thanks Gents very useful comments thank you. I have reverted to a Roco Track cleaning machine and applying Methylated Spirits to the cleaning pads underneath miracoulsy this seems be working as the locos now run over the myriad of tracks at slow speed with no problems. I am really (pleasantly) surprised as I didnt think this would work at all. Best Wishes, Chris

    DCC Sound

Many thanks Gents very useful, my apologies I was referring to the sound decoder manufacturers, as I have noted there is in some small cases, quite a difference comparing for example the DCC Sound decoder used in Asscurascale (ESU) - which are great and the other DCC Sound manufacturers. So I was just wondering if anyone had produced a spreadsheet listing the Functions by DCC Sound decoders for ease of reference. Many thanks Chris

I am relatively new to DCC having converted I am hightly delighted. However, in view of the complexity of all the different functions by different manufacturers I am just wondering if there is a template available that shows the different functions by each manufacturer ona sinle template? Many thanks and best wishes, Chris

  23. Many thanks that sounds like a good idea
  24. Many thanks the rake seems to run over the points and diamond crossings with no issues at all, so I hadnt checked the back to back as its only when it passes through over one of the large radii curves. It never seems to be the same curve either, but always the same wagon. I have even switched to magnetic couplings with no difference. Best wishes and thanks, Chris
  25. Many thanks Gents very interesting, sorry its a 00 Gauge layout. Good point I will check the distance between the buffers I hadn't thought of that exellent point. The track is cleaned and appears to be fairly clean. Many thanks and Best Wishes, Chris
