  1. You clearly haven’t seen my repainting skills!!🤣
  2. I agree that the 3 car is a good idea for those short of space. Maybe one of the NSE liveried 3-CEPs from Connex South Eastern might have been a better choice. Am still tempted, but I’m on a budget and the Hornby 4-VEP is due soon(ish) and that’s a bit more useful (and cheaper lol)
  3. Love the look of the 3-CEP, and in the correct livery for me, but it only lasted as a 3 car for a couple of years and was pretty much confined to the Lymington branch. Would much rather have it as a 4 car unit
  4. Just found this topic, and whilst the 50’s isn’t my usual period, I am fascinated by Southampton and its railway network, so will be following with interest. It was also a pleasant surprise, as a Yeovilian, to see photos of my local post office on here!!
  5. The bus in the first photo has the later London Transport roundel, but no company names (ie Selkent/ London Central)above the door. Therefore I would say that it was about 1987/88
  6. Don't know the exact date, but as it's got angled ends it's pre late 1987.
