  1. @KR Models Any plans on a second run? Asking for a friend.
  2. Well there is photographic evidence that one V2, 60818, made it to Callander on the 23rd of May 1964! To make things more interesting its an up service to Stirling, offering the possibility that she went all the way over Glen Ogle. Though I suspect she was just turned at Callander.
  3. I wonder if they could be adapted for 009. Might need inside bearing, or possibly the body on a new base.
  4. Bit of an odd question, but I'm working on a Takom MK10 Chieftain, Berlin camo, but I want some figures to go with it. So does anyone have a set of British Army figures circa 1980s they wouldn't mind parting with?
  5. I'm a sucker for alternative liveries, so if the BR ones ended up causing headaches you can blame me.
  6. In terms of a standard modern design that could be produced quickly in the 1920s, you could do far worse than the class N 2-6-0s.
  7. @James Hilton Will the Rails exclusive be arriving the same time as the main range?
  8. I would happily chuck my dwindling cash reserves at a 439
  9. Spectacular. I’ve managed through my own crack handedness to cripple two chassis.

There will be a cure.......do not despair.

  10. Its not coming up for me, could you send me the image directly? Oh wait, it’s the artwork from Sheffield. I thought you’d maybe shopped up a picture of the real thing.
  11. Now @McC the question that should be on everyones mind is, will you do the one they built for CIE? https://www.flickr.com/photos/29903115@N06/45061219964
  12. @McC Just adding My two pence, I feel that a good compromise on the chains would be to simply make the body bracket a push fit instead of gluing it in the factory, my two did have loose chains, including one where the bracket had come apart! Nothing I couldn't sort, but it did involve clearing the factory glue out with a 1mm drill bit, exciting for an order that came to three hundred and twenty pounds. But I'm not complaining, especially since in order to notice anything, I'd need to be about a centimetre away from it.
  13. Well if I wasn’t spot on! A coincidence I am sure ;). But that’s Black Watch and Scotty Grey heading my way.
  14. Is that where one driver rubs his feet on the carpet to give the other a shock?
  15. Famine to feast for south-western modellers. Not that it’s a bad thing.
  16. Guess you could say he was my lovely horse. Fran I make no apologies, and I still want a CIE Deltic.
  17. I will optimistically predict that I will get an email for my two on Monday next week, though given where I am, probably won't see em until Wednesday. @Accurascale Fran All meant in good humour, not as pressuring. I live in nowhere so I'm used to long delivery times.
