  1. I'd get really sick of that bloke shouting ease up everytime that uncoupling device is used. I hate to hear voices on dcc sound. Or other stupid sounds that aren't there in real life. My accurascale 37 is ruined by an AWS horn everytime it changes direction
  2. Wonder what the driver of the 66 would make of the cab of the Q10? Probably quite jealous of the warmth and quietness!
  3. I've ordered D5803 not very ER if it has those stickers. Has anyone renumbered an accurascale loco yet? Paint doesn't look too thick on the 37 so I do wonder I f the tcut method will remove base colour
  4. Excellent pictures David, did green arrow work 2 trains that day . I was on a railtour that day from Middlesbrough to Dinting via Newcastle I can't remember it's name , the V2 took it from York to Dinting via the hope Valley and returned over woodhead Seems like yesterday hard to believe 45 years ago!
  5. Having never attended Warley because it was always busy do people expect this to be the same? I think my favorite exhibition is donny , normally go Saturday afternoon and is fairly quiet later so layouts can be viewed nicely
  6. 03 D2051 was green with arrows and yellow buffer beams too I have a feeling it may have gone from plain green to this.
  7. I've ordered the accurascale 5803 and the blue one with 4 arrows . I might try and get another 5803 and make a 4 arrow one
  8. I've seen pictures 03s, 15s and I think there was a Deltic with them I'm sure people will know of others
  9. Thanks Rob Think that's outside my time frame unfortunately I'm doing 68/69
  10. I was hoping to find small yellow panel ones. I'm hoping accurascale are going to do arrows on GFYE it really does look smart Unfortunately it's not possible to do this livery correctly on the Hornby one as the central band has no relief
  11. Thanks for that, were 5557/61 headcode or disc locos
  12. This raises another question relevant to my layout did any of the early kk2 FKs in maroon or blue and grey work on the GE section
  13. Did 5623 5557 and 61 have these with small panels and later style numbers?
  14. Anyone know which 31s or possibly 30s got double arrows with small yellow panels? Not sure if any received the twin double arrows
  15. They look the best they ever did in GFYE, especially with double arrows
  16. If its electric then definitely sacrilege If anyone remembers a comic strip presents episode called Mr jolly lives next door One of the characters mr lovebucket drives a ds I can't imagine him messing about with a bloody cable before going to field on a morning to check a member staffs finger off 😃
  17. I've posted a video of recent improvements, sorry about narration I'm useless at it and my voice is cr@p!
  18. I wish people in high places would stop talking up was as if there is WW3 there would only be one outcome no matter if there is conscription or not. As this country has massively deindustrialised and closed most air bases it would take many nukes to completely immobilise this country Anyone living near an American airbase or big city can look forward to vaporisation in an instant away from that look forward to to a slow painful death from radiation sickness and starvation in a world with no power water or medical care as no electrical equipment would work nor would 99.9% of vehicles I think I'll be having a hearty breakfast or paracetamols in antifreeze that day Everyone should watch threads before talking WW3 up Also back in the cold War there were many bunkers for a futile attempt to reestablish civilization, most of these have been derelict for years
  19. Evening Rob, I hope the B16 is stood still as someone is on the front of it
  20. A thought just occurred to me. Is the pan live when the shoes are on the 3rd rail?
  21. Bit surprised to see a Citroën BX too... sure you didn't take the pictures in Leeds !😀
  22. Excellent pictures Rob Sad that 2023 was last year of DRS on RHTT
  23. What's annoying me is they are saying blast furnaces are coal fired which they aren't. Also the woolly mammoth in the room is that electric arc steel is not suitable for the the manufacturer of car body panels So loosing our steel industry could also lead to the end of the foreign car plants here which also employ thousands As usual with this lot India benefits again 🤬 I won't comment again as it will become political
  24. The one that was at Sheringham that my much missed late friend had as GE models was dark wood colour
  25. They'd have been better using zero1 panels, might have looked neater! Not my favourite railway
