  1. I do like the angled window surrounds.
  2. John, You can download 0 Gauge templates direct from their website if needs be.
  3. Jeff, I have a cab if you want it, just PM me your address.
  4. Looks great, have fun playing (I mean operating) this!
  5. Very impressive. Thanks for sharing.
  6. Although it's too big for this layout I had to have a play with my 4F earlier. Built a few years ago now from a Connoisseur Models kit.
  7. I'd forgotten about this layout Marc and never did get to see it in the flesh. Hope you get around to building another one soon. All the best. Alan.
  8. If you can pick up some old Peco points with adjustable check rails you may be OK. I am not certain though.
  9. Thanks George.
  10. Nothing much layout wise. I have built another Parkside van and halfway through an old Mercian 1F loco kit at the moment.
  11. Wilne Lane Coal Yard - gassing won't get the wagon unloaded!
  12. Prototype for everything!
  13. Thanks Mark. Wagon photos are pics of my own models laminated.
  14. Thanks Paul. I do get inspiration from Gordon and Maggies superb modelling. Alan.
  15. I have made some cards to use as a shunting puzzle. A throw of a dice decides which siding the chosen wagon has to be shunted into. It can take some time to shunt the new wagons and remove the old ones especially with the short headshunts.
  16. Thanks Julian. The bricks, stone blocks and sacks are resin castings from Skytrex. Coal yard items are scratchbuilt.
  17. A few more pics, this time showing the Builders Merchants and lean to Printers next door and the coal yard.
  18. Not my own idea but something I saw elsewhere, making small "cardboard" boxes. 1st pic shows the box marked out on a piece of manilla envelope. Hopefully the pic is self-explanatory; 2nd shows the completed box and the 3rd shows a squashed box along with some other junk in position on the layout.
  19. A few more pics showing progress to date.
  20. Belated greetings to you and yours Mark also! I have made some progress, will post some pics in due course. Embankment by the garage is completed, the factory siding now has a fence and I have started on the goods yard entrance gate. Also started on the builders merchant premises and have squeezed in a small small lean-to housing a print shop. Still very much work in progress though.
