PE12 6ET. This year's Spalding Model Railway Exhibition is fast approaching. We welcome 34 layouts, 5 demonstrators & 26 traders over the weekend of November 2nd and 3rd 2019. New for this year we are selling advanced tickets which will permit early entry from 9:30am & entry via a separate entrance to avoid the queues, until midday both days. Tickets are available here. There is no booking fee, simply print your ticket and bring it along for admission. A few teething problems with admission and the card machine first thing, but all sorted by lunch time - with plans in place to improve admission times tomorrow. Vale of Oxbury took the Springfield Cup as chosen by a representative of the local council. Aisthorpe took the John Brown Memorial Trophy. A great first day, thanks to everyone who visited!

Virtually everyone has arrived and setup today with just a few to go up tomorrow. The field should be fine for parking and we are expecting good weather across the weekend so shouldn’t deteriorate. Hope to see you all tomorrow or Sunday.

I have to agree with all that Ben, I have something in my mind based on somewhere near Birmingham with a mixture of cross country, virgin and London Midland, alongside freight and a few steam specials. Some inspiration can definitely be taken from your area groups wonderful Horseley Fields.

I mainly model LNER and BR Eastern steam in N, but have pledged for an 11 with sound. Let's hope this goes ahead, can see a whole new layout coming along.
