  1. Ignore steering wheel I have a plan for that, A few more mods and hopefully we are there.
  2. I am going to put this out there version 7 some improvements, it could be cynicism but what is wrong, something is bothering me and I don't know what. Only had this 5 mins mind, version6 in background with version 7 in grey.
  3. Version 6, I feel quite happy but only been looking at it for 5 minutes.
  4. Version 5 - I need to take a good close look at this.
  5. Here's the test print need to go over it and report back this evening.
  6. I have an Mars 3 on pre order missed the early bird but I think that was only 100 units. I am only interested in the increased detail so will see if it is any better.
  7. This arrived an hour ago, I have mixed views please no comments on wing mirrors (I know) but please feel free to comment on the rest, I will print it tomorrow.
  8. Rushed off the printer before the England game here's version 3 in resin
  9. Go on then, what are your thoughts?
  10. Version 3 just landed not had a good look yet, version 2 printing now so this will have to wait till alot later.
  11. Now it has been asked else where about material metal is my preference and they are shells not solid lumps. For example the vans are 3 parts - chassis, steering wheel and body, I am trying to get them as thin and light as possible, I do not think 3D printing is viable production method failed prints limited number per print run and time printing per run. Cast resin I have had bad experience with in the past if anyone can recommend a very good resin caster I will consider it. Does anyone know who did the latest NGS road vehicle casting in resin and how consistent it was? Did any one get any bad castings?
  12. Latest Cargo renders I'll be test printing and reviewing these later in the week.
  13. Thank you trying to describe this all now, along with a few other things not done before.
  14. Ah well here is version 2, I have stl's to look at as well, initial view was not great second view its improved, I'll print it later in the week and see what its like in plastic.
  15. Until I see the 3D file I suspect it will be these or no wing mirrors due to minimal material thickness and strength. Wing mirrors are an issue that I have not fully resolved, I think they should be separate but then may be to small to handle, in production and by modeller. This is a problem on all the vehicles so far but seems to stand out more on this one for some reason.
  16. Next up sneak preview - I have spotted a few things to get altered
  17. Wheels on the vans and cars are fixed but separate on the bigger vehicles. All the pictures so far have been quick test builds where I have not necessarily filled everything down. Before production I will do a full display set and paint them and fine tune the master set. Still not made my mind up on the best production and retail route yet.
  18. As promised earlier here is the latest test print of Ford Cargos. The fridge box van and BR crew cab have gone back for work. The BR one needs alot of work.
  19. I will have some new Ford pictures later and possible the next van preview in the next week.
  20. Here is the 3D print of the latest version of the cab, this is not the version for the skip lorry that will have a sign on the roof. I think it looks okay, good to go.
  21. Thank you, I'll print it tomorrow and see what it looks like
  22. Hi Bernard This is what has come back, very close, I am in 2 minds it is curved just not convinced its faceted but at this scale it is hard to tell.
  23. I have sent it back with my thoughts, yours (quoted) and my interpretation of yours, the light on top is because this is the tipper cab, but once this is right it will be the base for the rest.
  24. Another 1950 Commer, the Superpoise 4 in this range all based on pictures. 1: 25cwt Van 2: Box Van with roof vents 3: Break down truck 4: Light car transporter
  25. This is has taken alot of attempts to get to this point, really struggling to explain this to the designer. I think this looks okay, but what is your thoughts, not printed it yet.
