enjoyed watching again '2001 A space Odyssey' last night.after many years. It was mind blowing back then when first seen in the cinema. Remarkable quality visuals for its time, great music and minimal dialogue. Rated in many surveys as one of the greatest films ever made.

New slant on 'delay due to leaves on the line' Abellio Greater Anglia has bus replacement service on Ipswich to Felixstowe and Marks Tey to Sudbury for a week now and ongoing, due to wheel damage from 'Autumn rail conditions'. They say on average, 2 dmus per day are suffering wheel damage.

How long has the UK motorway network been virtually impassable due to congestion with traffic during the middle of a working day in August? Not even the usual day for going to or from your holiday! I gave up in disgust last Friday when driving from Devon to the Wirral, and left the awful M5 at Ashchurch, eventually trusting in the A49.
