  1. I’d love to see Accurascale turn their attention to some of the BRCW prototypes for their next diesels. About time we had a decent and accurate Class 33 at a sensible price. Accurascale, if you ever want access to our 33/0 and 33/1 for prototyping then we will always accommodate you…
  2. Yes you are correct on the fuel tank issue, and this isn’t the first time they’ve got it wrong. Heljan’s previous release of 33111 had the later type of fuel tank fitted, when 33111 actually carried the early type fuel tank with the cutaway throughout its entire life and still does to this day. 33111 is the only 33/1 to still have the early type fuel tank fitted. Heljan should really supply replacement fuel tanks free of charge to enable purchasers to correct the appearance of their locomotives.
  3. It’s a shame that D6580 has got the wrong chassis again. It should have a 33/0 chassis without the gangway rubbing plate and buckeye coupling

  5. Richard, I think he means the version with the modern roller bearing bogies
  6. Ridiculous that they think they can charge over £30 for the VDA and Ferryvans with that prehistoric underframe
  7. Not something that Accurascale have produced yet, but high on my wish list would be a tank wagon - in particular the Liquified Petroleum Gas variant of the TTA wagon as shown in the link below. (Not my photo) No other manufacturer has produced these before as far as I'm aware. https://gingespotting.smugmug.com/Wagons/T-TOPS-Code/TTA/i-QMjd3kT
  8. Are you planning at all to do the yellow air-braked version with the 8ft wheelbase plate bogies rather than the 5ft 6 plate bogies? Cheers
  9. I Investigated the car park pricing difference online before visiting. The organisers of the motorbike show partially subsidise the parking for their visitors - hence the lower rate. From the motorbike live website:
  10. Final 2020 O gauge 33 line up confirmed from the new catalogue Also a photo of 33012. Ben confirmed this is the actual factory weathering
  11. Is the model of 33008 in green an exclusive for one of the retailers? Can’t find it advertised anywhere
  12. Just been shunting with this beast this morning...
  13. I tried contacting Heljan a month ago to see if they could supply the correct type fuel tank for me to swap it over myself, but they have failed to respond to my email
  14. Just been looking at the pictures of these upcoming locos, and I notice that the model of 33111 is fitted with the wrong type of fuel tank. 33111 has only ever carried the original style fuel tank with the cutaway section. Would it be too late for Heljan to rectify an error like this?
  15. TCs were all fitted with a single compressor and MG under the brake coach
  16. The only photos I can find of 8022 without the NSE flashes on the gangway doors also show it without the NSE branding on the sides i.e. Pre NSE
  17. Received my model of 8022 with NSE branding yesterday, it's a fantastic model. My only minor complaint is that when 8022 carried NSE branding, it had the NSE flash on the cab end gangway doors and this is missing from the model but other than that it's spot on.
  18. I purchased the wagons below from a show at the weekend, and I'm trying to identify the manufacturer. They appear to be kit built, with a one piece plastic or resin body. Unusually, the chassis have A, B, C, etc - F moulded on them, and the bogies have 1 - 12 moulded on them, with corresponding numbers moulded on the chassis. Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks Edit: apologies for the upside down pictures, not sure how to rotate them!
