  1. Morning all, After a month of dabbling with EM I’ve pretty much completed the track for my EM layout Motts Lane with the droppers soldered on. The layout is built on two 3ftx18inch Tim Horn baseboards as well as a fiddle yard. Track plan: (please excuse the crude photo of the computer) The basic premise of the layout is a small steel yard on the end of a branch line, taking inspiration from an area similar to Lowestoft. I plan to use semaphores from MSE, which will be a nice challenge! The layout is built around a C&L three way point, which I’m hoping to have wired up when the Megapoints controllers arrive this week. I’ve purchased three C&L Squirrel servo mounts and switch blade bars, which again I’m hoping to mount this week. On to a few photos of the layout, when I visited Tim Horn to pick up the baseboards he helped me to rewheel a few bits of stock, 60036, 47818 and 66068. I’m hoping to also have 56006 rewheeled and sound fitted this week. Basic track plan: And finally a few shots of stock on the layout; the BDAs are awaiting Alan Gibson wheels, currently balancing on the track for the photos: A big thanks to Tim Horn for his help with the baseboards and to Jason at Custom Layout signs for his help with laser cutting my sleepers from the templot. Hopefully have some movements over the next few weeks. Any comments would be much appreciated. Kind regards, Will
