rapidotrains
Spreading the bogie sideframes apart to press these into place is going to be a real pain. -Jason
JSpencer
I think they will fit the APT-E model quite nicely.

RMweb Gold SHMD Posted June 10, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 10, 2015 Round hole square peg - what's the problem? Kev.
RMweb Gold PaulRhB Posted June 10, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 10, 2015 Is it me or do the flanges look too deep for rp25? And the gauge a bit wide Still if you put those under a OO APT-E no one's gonna notice the overhang "Ex-pert mode off"

PatB
You're going to need at least an 80W soldering iron to sink those into the plastic.
rapidotrains
This 1:1 scale modelling thing is not all it's made out to be.... And people think a DCC system is expensive! I'm wondering if Rapido could qualify for lottery money. My wife's father was born in London. Does that count?
Andy Reichert
Where are the other two?
AndyID
I like the dual gauge track. Is it OO and EM?

I used to military modelling in 1/76 but stopped when I started re-enacting.

I used to military modelling in 1/76 but stopped when I started re-enacting. It's the other way round for me at least. My models run a lot better and a lot less expensively than my long gone prototype, plus I can make them operate more frequently and in ways I like better. Also the other way 'round for me. 1:1 military stuff lost most of its shine the first time the firing range went in both directions.
