Penlan Posted June 23, 2015 Share Posted June 23, 2015 I believe the show's been cancelled this year.Because there is no accommodation available for visiting exhibitors within 40 + miles of Cardiff.It's all been booked up for the Rugby World Cup match that weekend.Thursday, Friday, yes, Travelodge at £30 a night/room. Saturday (and Sunday) some places are not even giving a (high) quote yet.The venue has other bookings for weekends around that time, and of course exhibitors may have other commitments on other weekends. Penlan Posted June 24, 2015 Author Share Posted June 24, 2015 Derek Mundy and I (separately) had been trying to book accommodation for weeks now, thus we were aware there was a problem, both he and I mentioned it to a member or two of the Club, and slowly things have not happened. There is more explanation of why the date wasn't changed etc. Apologies also to Sandy, that booking at the Mughal Emporer will have to be cancelled.
