Look excellent, would suit any modern Freightliner depot as 'spares' store. When are these expected?

HI All

They will be on sale at Warley show " well thats the plan"

You sill get the odd one on trains yet between freightliner depots with parts.

HI All

The red and yellow container that this ones based on was manufactured in 1989, the Red one was manufactured in 86 im not sure about the white and red but that appears to be the late 70s for a kickoff date for that livery.

The Red and white was on new containers manufactured at Derby Works and on display August 1979 http://PaulBartlett.zenfolio.com/brfreightlinercontainer/e269393ea and had been in use for a while on this one seen in June 1979 http://PaulBartlett.zenfolio.com/brfreightlinercontainer/e2fee06b5

The red with a white stripe was earlier than suggested http://PaulBartlett.zenfolio.com/brfreightlinercontainer/e22b9288eseptember 1981.

Good, 'cos I want to order a few as well as a few locking bars to replace the ones I can't find!   :)

Are locking bars available as a separate item? I could do with some replacements, would you consider doing a packet of spares?

The locking bars are listed under the kits section on the C=Rail website. I can't justify ordering those alone but adding some containers (which I want anyway) makes the postage to Australia worthwhile.

Murphy's Law says that the moment I order the locking bars and they're on the way here, I'll find where I've hidden the existing ones!  :scratchhead:
