Good to know they are starting to go out! I was late ordering mine (after I had received the two black ones) So i know have a fair bit of a wait until they get to mine, but it's good to know they are here and i'm looking forward to receiving it to join 10201 & 10202

Originally ordered a green one, but changed it to black and silver as they look so much more impressive in this colour scheme. Should be here today or tomorrow.

It’s going to take them some time to pack and mail all the orders. If it doesn’t arrive for a week or three then sit tight. Kernow MRC often asks that customers do not call to ask when their order will arrive since this uses up valuable staff time which could have been used to pack and send more items.

Ordered my K2704 last December and Postie brought it this  morning "to sign for".

Only taken the box lid off and ogled it so far and apart from a dislodge cab corner handrail it looks absolutely georgeous.

After dulling down a bit, particularly the garish roof, I am looking forward to running it on a mixed rake of Staniers and Mk1s

Fantastic model Mr Trerise and staff, and thanks for making the effort. Not sure whether 10800 can fit your remit but it would be really really nice !!!

Well yes John. sorry I omitted those.  What an inspired and fabulous choice the latter would be intermingled with Bachmann AL5s and "Porthole" stock, as well as Hornby's Staniers.

Oh yes. And for BR(WR) fans too !!!

What a lovely model. You see few of these anyway, and I think this is the first model I've seen in green. Is it a Dave Alexander kit, or maybe in 7mm?

John.

It is indeed the 4mm. scale Dave Alexander kit - running on two Black Beetles.

Oh yes, yes and thrice yes. In any order at all please, revered Mr. Trerise.

I’m delighted that 10201, 2 and 3 seem to have sold so well. Kernow deserves it and it gives us hope for more “oddballs”.

But before doing any of those, there is the class 70 to tackle CC1, CC2, 20003. And of course the Leader....

Before doing any of those or those they need to tackle the Steam Railmotor (and the Warship I suppose) but the Steam Railmotor please and the Road Vans and maybe a B-Set or a Metro Tank

Just trying to change the headcode discs on mine. Easy enough to get the white discs off, but has anyone thought up a simple way to plug the closed discs in?  They're so small I'm struggling to work out a way to do this.

Thanks

Maybe blue tack on the end of a flat screw driver?

10203 in Green.....splendid model but hate the bright yellow roof ! I am sure the original photos showed it grey with dirt of course.

Does any one know where these were made? Hornby or Bachmann factory ???

Stuck a Lenz decoder in to give it a test run. Nice and smooth on it's own, not had a load behind it yet. Sound decoder should be here tomorrow, then stick a rake of crimson and cream Mk1s on it.

Only waited seven and a half years from ordering but it finally arrived today:

Very impressive and well worth waiting for.

Your picture shows the roof yellow at one end and light sandstone ish colour to the right. My one has arrived with the yellow colour along all of the roof. Can you clarify what colour yours is yellow or sandstone ish, as I am sure you have not got one with a graded colour from one end to the other.

Maybe blue tack on the end of a flat screw driver?

Tried that first and managed to get one in after about 15 minutes.  Then had to carefully scrape the blue-tak off the disc.  I've also tried with blue-tak on the end of a blunted cocktail stick, but I've only managed to get a couple more in after an hour.  And one of those won't go flat. I will try and get the 4th in tomorrow if my patience holds, but I don't think I'll be changing routes ay time soon ….
