Hi Kieran, loved the dubbing of the loco sound. You can tell the difference between a real loco engine sound and a decoder sound a mile off. There is a deepness and richness to the real thing. kirley
CIE Palvans Highlighting two scratched built Palvans from plasticard by Gareth Brennan. He did his the correct height which shows up my attempt years ago by amalgamating two Parkside Dundas wagons.
jhb171achil
Yes, I got a Parkside one a while back and it just doesn't look right - too low! I didn't know Gareth made yours - now there's a man who KNOWS his stuff! I like the way you've the original door type, plus both the later variations. As on the prototype, barely two wagons in a train were truly identical. Look at any picture of any goods train pre-1976 and just as a cab of a 121 towered above other diesels, the palvans towered over "H" vans and wooden ones! Great job!

Neils WRX
Keep thinking about buying a 121 to remember those trips to Ireland in the 1990’s, although I’d need a new layout to operate it on!! Stay safe, Neil
