I would think it is much nearer as my 117 cut and shunt from the excellent Dapol 121/122 stable  is nearing lock down completion!  Middle car a happy chop of 3 vehicles ! and a smidge of filler as is normal with my bodging.

I have reduced the population of dummy vehicles by  5 to get this far! making them more collectable ?

Hi Robert,

Really would love to see your completed unit :)

Cheers,

Hi Just got new camera waiting on an suitable link to PC for it`s card then you may well be lucky!   I should add another body plus bits gave a 131 parcels unit. - This needs to loose headlamps off its donor body and have exhausts fabricated as 122 exhausts are rarer than hens false teeth! but nothing a bit of thick wire an a dab of solder cannot sort.

On the bench are Derby single, twin , 103 and 120 in varied states of production.  If these get finished then Bachmann better get busy !

Looking forward to a 117 from Farish too.

In the meantime I've been doing a spot of cut and shuts with various Dapol 121/122's and BH Enterprises parts.

Some alternative uses for a Farish 117?

Class 127 Parcels Twin and the South Yorkshire PTE 114.

Fancy a 117 in the white with blue stripe livery.

Great job there, with modelling skills like these and Robert's 117 pics to come this may well be demonstrating why some don't actually need an RTR 117 after all!

However most of us mortals would still like one please!
