4firstimes Posted September 27, 2015 Share Posted September 27, 2015 I am not sure if the new farish class 31 has appeared within this forum, but having just purchased the blue version I am totally disgusted at the standard of quality control. Examination after runnng the locomotive on my rolling road showed a number of the finely fitted sand pipes on each of the bogies missing. One dropped off whilst the locomotive was runnng, and several found loose in the bottom of the plastic tray. Has any other modellers having purchased a model observed a similar situation ? I normally examine all my purchases carefully before inserting a dcc chip. On this occasion I dIdn't, observing my other model none of the sand pipes have come loose, and the full complement is on each bogie . Have any other modellers observed such on their models?
