RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted February 27, 2010 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 27, 2010 Running has now commenced on the DRAG Mark 2 test track ('TT2'), albeit with jury-rigged wiring on the OO and outermost P4 circuits only, whilst the electrical wiring looms are built and installed by our electrical wizard Peter, ably assisted by Re6/6. This was the scene last Monday night: Andrew Eaton's 4F inaugurates the running on the P4 circuit for the evening, whilst 10800's 2-car DMU rattles by on the OO circuit: The middle two P4 roads are superelevated, using Tilling foam superelevation strips under the track. These lines are designated 'Up and Down Fast', with the two outermost P4 roads designated 'Up and Down Slow'. The OO circuit is known as the, er... OO circuit... : Re6/6 gets ready to give one of his Cargowaggons the 'high speed propelling test' on one of the superelevated sections: A variety of OO stock awaits a run on the OO circuit, including 10800's new Hymek! A right selection of shady characters works on threading rail into Exactoscale P4 track bases: The Captain's Class 31 in charge of virtually all his parcels stock: Change of motive power on the parcels train: Tail lamp's fallen off somewhere...
