Purley Oaks
Interesting piece from The Guardian about China's greatest train hunter endeavouring to document China's ever-expanding rail network. Allegheny1600
An astonishing acheivement! A friend of mine recently rode one of their trains and did over 1000 miles in around 5 hours! In great confort too, apparently. Cheers, John E.
Titan
That's an average speed of around 200mph? That is seriously quick!
Allegheny1600
Oops! I've just checked and he said "2200Km in 8 hours" - still an average speed of approx 172Mph though! Sorry about that, John.
