Absolutely lovely modelling (as ever) but I am a little alarmed that the sheep can get out; my experience of keeping sheep is that if you left them like that they would lose no time in escaping and throwing themselves either under the first loco or, in the absence of suitable locos, down the coal drops!

PS. I don't keep sheep any more!

There is a shepherd standing by the gate, anyway, there is a trespass notice just inside the railway boundary.

Ah but can the sheep read English language, unless the sign is in baa baa.

I believe the only bilingual signs the LNWR had on its Welsh lines were the No Trespassing signs; whether this implies that sheep in general can't read English or that Welsh sheep only read Welsh, I have yet to discover.

And a GW wagon (for those who like that kind of thing).

Well, if you must. But for 1918 you could do with some LNWR and more Midland opens, then perhaps a L&Y one - simply by proportions of share of wagons in the pool. Same goes for 1928, modified by the prefix ex-.

There are wagons from all of those dotted about.

I'm sure you can work out why I liked that. But may I respectfully draw your attention to this post of mine, re. a defect in the Slaters kits?

Yes, that one was built many years ago and is deficient as noted.

This one on the other hand...
