Graham Walters
Apologies if there is already a thread for this company. I came across them via an advert in the NGS journal, and as we are in the process of planning an N scale layout for the club I was interested enough to ake some enquiries and ask some questions on the forum. Almost a month later and the question still haven't been answered, which hasn't built my confidence of using them, I just wondered if anyone has any real knowledge of this system and the company. http://www.britishfinescale.com/

I assume they (British Finescale) manufacture both gauges. C&L Stock the N gauge stuff.
Guest bri.s
http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/65617-finetrax/?fromsearch=1 Worth a look They don't do gauges for the system you don't need them ,thread the chairs onto the rails then the chairs have a stud on the bottom that slot into a hole in the point template Brian
RMweb Gold Joseph_Pestell Posted January 2, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 2, 2016 Apologies if there is already a thread for this company. I have had good service from Wayne in the past. I just need him to add a few items to the pointwork kits and then find someone to build them for me. It's all a bit small for me to cope with. RMweb Premium DavidLong Posted January 2, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 2, 2016 It's an N gauge version of the 2mm Scale Association's Easitrac, which I have used. I assume they (British Finescale) manufacture both gauges. C&L Stock the N gauge stuff. British Finescale (aka FiNetrax) track is only for 9mm gauge and British N standards. 2mm Scale Association Easitrac is 9.42mm gauge and uses the Association standards. FiNetrax is available direct from British Finescale (http://www.britishfinescale.com/) or C & L. Easitrac is only available, as a member, from The 2mm Scale Association (http://www.2mm.org.uk/products/shops.php?shop_num=1) David
RMweb Premium Kris Posted January 2, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 2, 2016 I have purchased several point kits and track components from Wayne, and would have no hesitation about ordering further when required. The kits go together well. Postage is on the steep side.
2mm Andy
As Brian has mentioned above, there is a Finetrax thread in the Small Suppliers section, and Wayne Kinney is an RMweb member, so you would probably stand a better chance of getting a response if you were to post in the Finetrax thread mentioned or send Wayne a PM if you have specific questions. hope that helps, Andy
