smokebox Posted June 7, 2019 Share Posted June 7, 2019 Hornby have now clarified (in the later issues of the user manual) that the 4 amp output is available for the track and auxiliary output combined together. If used, the auxillary output takes power away from the track. Quote "Please note, if the AUX OUTPUT connection is used, less power will be available for driving locomotives."
