Pentrollers

I have a hand held Pentroller, which seems to have developed a fault at the lower end of the rheostat.

When starting a loco, the knob has to be turned a little way, when the engine starts suddenly and speeds away. Looks like the speed control has a fault at the lower end.

Does anyone know of a repair facility for these controllers.

Derek

If you can, I would remove the pot and take it in to somewhere like Maplins, partly because the physical fit of tags and available space look to be the biggest problems. The shaft will have to be shortened. Make sure you hold the shaft in the vice to saw it, not the body of the pot. (may sound obvious, but I've seen everything)
