Strathyre
Several 37s to rename and renumber but I'd like to do as little damage to the existing paintwork as possible. Any ideas/techniques? Thanks in advance and Happy New Year Paul
GordonC
I think I just used the usual T-Cut on mine. Just need to be careful with ViTrains because the layer of paint they use is thinner compared to other manufacturers so its easy to rub that off too
RMweb Premium MickD Posted January 18, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 18, 2016 Hi, you will be lucky not damaging the paintwork while removing numbers. Ive tried with T-Cut and a cotton bud which took the numbers off and also the top coat. ViTrains must be the thinnest paint job of any manufacturer. Sorry, not the news you will want to hear. MickD. Strathyre
Thanks guys, much appreciated. I think I'll try a new no. 10 scalpel blade - works well on Bachmann, worth a try on these! Paul
