Afternoon all,

I thought it was about time I started another thread for Braybridge after purchasing the layout from Scott(Pitbull1845) back in November. It's a cracking little layout and my plan is to eventually get it back out onto the exhibition circuit.

Here's a few pictures,

Hi Arnie,

I've been looking out for a thread since Scott mentioned he had sold the layout on.

Thanks for sharing - its great to see different stock on it.

Regards,

James

Afternoon,

Here' a few more pics with an NSE flavour to them. I am actually quite tempted to convert Braybridge permanently to an NSE themed layout, it is one of my favourite eras and what I grew up with. Also thinking about adding in a bit of 3rd rail action maybe?

Hi,

I don't own anthing NSE, but I've been tempted many times, it is a great livery.

Nice to hear you will putting your own mark on the layout, third rail also sounds like a great idea.

I see some additions near the signal box too. I really like the third picture above of the blue loco (is it a 33?) Without wishing to sound too smug the backscene blends in great with the camara aiming straight at it. It makes the scene look much deeper than it is.

I've been mulling over ideas for another layout and I keep coming back to a similar format of two fiddle yards with a simple run through.

all the best,

James
