You can always tell great modelling by the atmosphere with no trains on display.

You have nailed it perfectly.

Thank you very much. With it only being small I am trying to add interest with all the details.

Nick,

I love what you have done with this scene. Only point I would make is the troughing routes and cabinets only really make sense if a main line is in front of the sidings. I like the modern buffer stops and NSE red lamposts.

Cheers.

Thats exactly where the mainline is......

There are also  2 modern ground signals protecting the exit from the sidings in the the real location, I have these on order from Absolute Aspects.

I must admit I am stunned by such a simple track design with lots of detail along with a realistic backgound

If you are planning to show off your work at any exhibitions let us know wont you because I would stand there all day and watch you play trains

Lovely layout

Shaun

Looking really good Is there much more detail you want to do?

Hi Hugh,

I have some Absolute Aspects modern ground signals on order, these will be installed along with the cosmetic cables and trunking.

The layout set up on trestles with drapes attached, need a name board now.

Guest Digital

The last Network Rail class 31 in service 31233 visits the sidings.

Very nice weathering, captures the loco perfectly.
