Just Like the real Thing!

I think some of the spoil wagons I operate have somehow tapped into the ways of their real life prototypes.

This happened earlier at Coleraine - on a straight piece of track just at the end of the platform, off came M20 and finished up against the water column. A local enthusiast was "on hand" and sneaked on to the roof of a parked coach to get a better shot from above.

remarkably, none of the load was shed and there was no damage (worth speaking of) to either wagon or water column.  The breakdown crew arrived shortly and services are now running normally again - all in a days work..

The official report states that it was thought that "excessive speed" was the root cause of the accident but the loco crews vociferously deny this.
