Andrew P
If my wife found out that I had three (3) layouts on the go in my train room she would have me committed. I really do not know how you do it. Like Clive I am anticipating a multitude of changes before December - at least it should be fun to watch the changes. Committed years ago mate, now she won't even come into the Old Potting Shed, when Dinners ready, she sends me a TEXT, hahhahha

Andrew P
Will the flap hit the scenery when folded over ? Hi Phil, no the Back scene will sit in front of it, If you look at the first post, the backscene will be immediately behind the cottages and will curve from the Station end Cottage out to the back of the Layout, and with just a hole in the Backscene HOPEFULLY disguised somehow. 60012 Commonwealth of Australia
I turn my back for 5 minutes and you're back with another layout I assume that we'll see trains running tomorrow, and it fully scenicked the day after?!! Good luck with it!

Peter Kazmierczak
Might need a couple of traps Andy. Though the one on the right you might not, if the point to the quay is worked from the signalbox. In two minds about that one..... Mrkirtley800
Oi !! Andy, just stop it. You are making us all look like couch potatoes. I thought I was getting on with my layout but you make it look as if I am going backwards. But, well done. It looks an interesting project and one to give folks some ideas when they think they haven't enough space. Derek
Andrew P
Morning again Guys and thanks for the Post's above and all the positive LIKES. This morning I decided to try something, So I've added some timber to the opposite end to the Warf to; A, Get a better Balance looks wise, and B, Give more room for the Yard so that its not all cramped in. I may yet remove that bit and add a longer bit to tie up with the end of the Warf for a more curved frontage, but I wanted to ensre it woukd work visually first.

Andrew P
Well Guy's if you've popped in for a CATCH UP, Here's what I've been up to since Lunch. I've re done the whole frontage and the Station end is now 18 inches wide but the extra is still no problem for the Car, and it gives a far nicer sweep to the whole Layout I feel. Steps or Slipway or both. Note these will not be the final Cottages etc, they will be Low relief and therefore more room between them and the Track. Fed up with Carpentry now so tomorrow I have a weathering job to do, and will then be laying some Tracks on North Road I hope.
