Signalmaps.co.uk - not totally reliable but seems to give a good indication. Guess I might have to subscribe to the Railcam site ...

£25 for one year's membership. Includes some more cams that are not in the free list as well as the diagrams.

Sunday 5th December

Views west from Hurn Road of the landscaped embankment before they complete the fencing. The old site entrance is now closed off:

The up line that was showing OOU isn't anymore on Railcam but is on Signal Maps

Very quiet as I crossed the ECML via Hurn Road this morning and back home via Cock lane this afternoon. No trains seen at all. Is there a diversion or problems on the ECML?

Views from Cock Lane bridge looking south. A bulldozer of some kind sat on a pale grey flattened surface. Someone elsewhere has suggested it might be a 'vib roller'...

Up line is still showing OOU

A question from the RailUK.forum.co.uk:

Can anyone confirm whether today's (05/12/21) Hull Trains 1H03 1418 Peterborough to Hull used the dive under please?
It would appear so from watching it on traksy as it appeared to use the down Stamford before appearing on the Spalding line. Confirmation that it was the first in passenger train through the dive under would be appreciated.

A reply:

Yes, 1H03 used it at 14:44 today.

From my train describer logs, PB0499 is the diveunder signal:

[05/12/21 14:41:09] CA 1H03 PB0471 PB0475
[05/12/21 14:42:06] CA 1H03 PB0475 PB0485
[05/12/21 14:42:46] CA 1H03 PB0485 PB0499
[05/12/21 14:44:32] CA 1H03 PB0499 PB7007
[05/12/21 14:45:26] CA 1H03 PB7007 PB7009

Oh dear, whether intentional or not, Hull Trains have usurped another operator whose service was to be the first passenger train through the dive under.  I think someone may be on the naughty step tomorrow trying to explain why it was routed that way.

The Hull Trains service started from Peterborough platform 5 yesterday not KX as normal.

4E25 just gone towards Spalding via the diveunder, however southbound line is showing OOU again.

PB0490 (southbound dive under signal at Marholm Junction) seems to be having issues on the diagram as it looks to be in and out of use more times than a ******* draws. Currently OK.

From RailUK.forum.co.uk:

Any news on an official opening ceremony?

I note there's two unusual LNER workings tomorrow (1Z80 KGX-Spalding and 1Z81 Spalding-KGX) but these are routed through Werrington Jctn rather than the diveunder so perhaps entirely unrelated.

A reply:

They're the "official" first passenger services to use the dive under with various local dignitaries / DfT representatives etc on board. They will be using the dive under, however the geography for the dive under doesn't go live in Network Rail planning systems until the December timetable change so they have to show they are using Werrington Jn. Should be a 9-car bi-mode.

Dear all,
Does anyone know the times of the LNER trains using the dive-under at Werrington Junction tomorrow please?

KGX to Spalding 1Z80 is due at 10:13 at Werrington Junction.

Spalding to KGX 1Z81 is due at 11:01 at Werrington Junction.

KGX to Lincoln IZ80 (IB80) is due at 11:05 at Werrington Junction.

Lincoln to KGX IZ81 (IB81) is due at 12:25 at Werrington Junction.

Real Time Trains show the times as 10:13 out & 11:01 return and Spalding, not Lincoln.

I notice the stock is shown as ECS from Neville Hill and back, which is a lot of miles of ECS!

The unit being used for the opening is 800107

Is there going to be a ribbon across the entrance that the train will break?:D

It left 1 minute early

Railcam diagrams seem to be showing it obfuscated as "176T" although RTT can't find that
