Hi all,

 

As per the comments on the other threads....

 

There is one big gap in the knowledge, skills, models and modelling essentials.

 

Lettering for the rolling stock.

 

So I have an idea that would cover all the lot!

 

Produce a decal sheet that does for all the variations needed for Locos, Coaches and Wagons.

 

Some 90% of what is required is white lettering/characters in a variety of sizes.

 

I've attached a .jpg sample of what I have worked out - so far!

 

Still time to make changes, add anything I've missed etc.

 

Whilst the file is intended for 4mm scale ie 009, the original has been done as a vector graphic and could be resized to any other scale.

 

 

Thoughts etc - always welcome!

ps - If things are spelled incorrectly - tell me now!

 

pps - Having just looked I'm not happy with the whisker for the cab end of the NDM6 and will have another go at it.

 

ppps - If there are coach names I have missed let me know.

 

Edit - Original copy removed as now amended.

 

Copy sent to decal maker to see if my ideas on how to do this are workable!

 

More news once I hear back.

Hi all,

 

Back on the DHR project trail - again!

 

Excciting times - Decals are available for some of the wagons and the NDM6 locos

OK - so the list is for large scale decals - but I asked the question about rescaling them to 009 and will have the end product later this week.

 

Now - just need to see if I can get the coach decals done as well.
