Sheave wheels are the large spoked wheels on the tops of colliery head frames. Dazzler fans 3D printed sheaves are very good too, I bought some a little while back. The kind of thing that would be quite difficult to build from scratch.

Phil,

I noted your model sometime ago.

The pony wheel  needs to be 9mm and the spoke pattern

for the 14mm drivers is different, with w/b 21mm. Inserts provided.

The kit has detail backhead, with an open through cab: traversing

jacks on the footplate The motor is fully contained in the body.

Parts are painted before assembly for a crisp model.

It is an expensive model to produce using FXD, FUD, WSF for the

3D printed parts with bought-in parts to provide a running model

excluding wheels.

Thanks for your interest, Noel. I am not planning to replace any of my 45+ year-old stock, although I might do minor improvements to them. The standard of current r-t-r is so good that my efforts would look shabby beside them, so I am working on a diorama on which I can park my old stuff.

Best wishes

Phil
