Popular Post Andy Y
NEWS RELEASE: Invicta Model Rail Doubles in Size Invicta Model Rail, Sidcup, Kent has grown! We’ve opened up our first floor, making a visit to Sidcup twice as good! The opening was carried out by Invicta’s youngest helper, 7 year old Cameron Smith, (eldest son of owners Kerry & Vernon) on Saturday 4TH June, when Cameron cut the ceremonial ribbon to officially open the new sales area. The first floor is the new home to Invicta’s HO gauge North American outline, Diecast Buses & Books. North American HO ranges currently kept include – Athearn, American Limited, Accurail, Bachmann & Walthers. In addition, Kalmbach, Morning Sun & Withers books are stocked, in addition to magazines, such as Trains & Diesel Era. Bowser, Blueford Shops & Kato HO are also kept in limited quantites and we are happy to order items in for customers (subject to availablity) and post to most parts of the world if needed. All items, including forthcoming releases are shown on our web site – www.invictamodelrail.com Our expanded book section includes books on UK railways, American railroads, buses, and a good stock of remaindered titles. Pre owned buses are stocked in addition to the usual new stock from EFE, Corgi, Britbus & Forward. We also keep a larger selection of Humbrol paint, Balsa wood, Evergreen Plastic, and Albion metals upstairs, along with a small selection of plastic kits. All ranges in store have benefited from the increased space, allowing a better display, and it also giving us the freedom to expand the ranges as time and space permits. RMweb Premium Chris116 Posted June 9, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 9, 2016 I saw the news about the increase in size yesterday morning and with nothing planned made a trip to Sidcup. Shop is very close to the station and the the staff very friendly. They helped me empty my wallet and I will certainly be paying them more visits.

alibuchan
Went for a quick (and rather expensive) trip to Invicta on Saturday very impressed with the selection of American models available and the fact that they did have the Athearn Bombardier coaches in stock that I wanted. Very impressed with the shop and the fact it cost me less to go down by train to collect them than the postage was a massive bonus. Will definitely be going back. Once the wallet is out of intensive care! Alistair
