Kevin Based on the feedback i have; 1) Extended the station platforms slightly (so a sand drag can be added). 2) My catch point arrived so the loco spur has been completed 3) I have widened the platform- it is now 10cm width and if I lay a 'OO man/woman' on his/her side he/she will fit either side of the island platform! danstercivicman Posted June 18, 2016 Author Share Posted June 18, 2016 Right I have been busy and needed to move the layout out of the middle room as my wife is back from a course. I have moved it into the basement after going to the tip... I have also been thinking about the location for the layout and have decided it shall be based on the West Midlands area, kinda around SANDWELL and DUDLEY, so its going to be called DUDWELL... Please find layout plan attached... Again all the boards will be portable so if we do move I can lift the whole lot out in sections. The layout sections will be raised with lots of arches and a desolate dump area in the centre where the small goods shed is accessed. The idea is that this goods shed will be mainly for coal.
