kes
Four Arches worked perfectly all weekend at The Whitby Model Rail Show at Goathland, and was very well received by the public, who were generally astounded that you could fit the layout into such a small space. We may have some new n gauge converts out there! A big thank you to my Brother-in-law Peter, who operated the layout and answered all the questions, as well as providing the green diesels and stock. kes
It worked nearly faultlessly until a transistor in the controller started to have a mind of its own. The transistor has been replaced by a much bigger one!

kes
Dr Beeching has come to Four Arches. It has been dismantled, track and buildings recovered, and will morph into a slightly bigger 3'x2' folding roundy. The reason for this is that the boards were beginning to disintegrate, having been made from some fibrous display board! A new layout will rise from the ashes. 1
