Michael Delamar
Does anyone remember this? It used to feature in the 1990s on one of the music channels. The music was Beethoven and the video was scenes of class 26s and 27s in the snow on the West Highland line in the 1980s.
Steamport Southport
I think it was called The Landscape Channel, also broadcast on Channel Four in the mornings. It featured classical music with videos of mostly countryside scenes. There was also one of a canal boat crossing Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. All the videos were shown on a continuous loop. Possibly available on YouTube. Jason

RMweb Gold young37215 Posted June 20, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 20, 2016 Does anyone remember this? It used to feature in the 1990s on one of the music channels. From what I could see I reckon that the time is late 70's rather than early 80's given the use of 27's and buffet cars. Both had disappeared by the 80's. Michael Delamar
Note the flared trousers worn by the signalman in the end shot. I wonder if this was filmed by British transport films?

RMweb Premium ColinK Posted November 10, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 10, 2018 I hadn’t seen that before, very enjoyable. Think I saw a quick glimpse of a Gresley buffet car and Mk1 sleeper.
