RMweb Gold lakeview770 Posted July 3, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 3, 2016 Hi I'm looking for an engine shed that can survive the heat and humidity of a Florida summer. I was building a 4 road engine shed and really like the Scalescenes kit I had built but after 4 months in the sunroom it didn't look too good I originally wanted the Bachmann 4 road shed but its no longer available so are there any others out there that are similar either 2 or 4 road. 34theletterbetweenB&D
I would go about this another way: look for what railway modellers in the hotter parts of the USA use by way of constructions and materials proven to stand the heat/humidity, then enquire if there is any UK model product made that way. lenht
Keep a look out for these they can be picked up cheaper and are easily extended although this is not a bad price for this. I have two four roads and one double all joined up http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hornby-DUBLO-4-ROAD-DOUBLE-ENGINE-SHED-/371672916020?hash=item56896ea034:g:S6EAAOSwgY9XeN1h
