Southern_Trains_Fan
Hey all, In aid of the prototypical layout I am planning, I simply ask if anybody would be happy to provide me with any pictures of Denmark Hill station. I would need pictures of anything on the station premises, from departure boards to platform ramps! Cheers, Matt
Peter Kazmierczak
Matt, I assume that if you're modelling the present day scene, you've already been down to the station and taken lots of pictures yourself.
Southern_Trains_Fan
Matt, I assume that if you're modelling the present day scene, you've already been down to the station and taken lots of pictures yourself. I am modelling the present day scene, and I have only very briefly been to the station when waiting for a train to Clapham Junction. I live far away from here so I don't get much chance to go to Denmark Hill. Cheers, Matt

Nick Holliday
Google images came up with loads, including the kentrail website with lots of history. Also the Phoenix pub is in the station building, and that might come up with more images.

RMweb Gold phil_sutters Posted September 16, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 16, 2016 I have very little to offer, despite having lived within 2 or 3 miles for 40+ years, except that I have a grandson named Phoenix after the pub - you guess why! At the time it was called The Phoenix & Firkin - so we were glad it wasn't twins! I have just one contribution to make on the photo front and one that won't reveal anything not seen before. Cheers for this Phil, every little helps . I think it's great how you named your son after the Phoenix pub, but as you say, twins may have been a little tricky to name if you were sticking to pub names. One called Coach and one called Horses perhaps?? Cheers for your help, Matt
