BR and Industrial diesel shunters

The 05 is complete, apart from the worksplates (which I still need to order). It was a surprisingly complex thing to paint, with things like the handrails, marker lights and their cabling all needing painting and attaching. I'm rather pleased with it, having wanted a model of this loco for nearly 35 years.

This loco was built compensated as an experiment, and also had a Mitsumi motor which I'd not tried before. Both of these have been successful, as it runs far better than any of my other small locos (either RTR or kitbuilt).  The fixed driving axle means that it does lurch slightly over points, but then so do a lot of real shunters. All in all, I'm pretty happy, although I've no idea how the IoW engineers shunter has ended up on an ex-SER line in Kent.....
