That’s an impressive fleet! Good on you for modelling the everyday workhorses instead of shiny locos which don’t represent the majority of a TOC/FOC's fleet usually.

Jack.

It's just what I like. Being from Cornwall seeing locos and freight was VERY rare apart from the occasional engineers or the clay traffic. So it was a no brainer for me to model what I know best which is the more mundane things to other people. Class 150s/158s/153s, Pacers and of course the HST!

Thanks for the support dude

Yep that's me on Twitter, thanks for letting me know you like the posts so much! I'm hoping with the new depot they'll get even better!
Where did you see the announcement of the extra Class 143s? I've not seen this at all.

Thanks again for the support!
Jacob

That's brilliant. Your fleet is really impressive with such a variety of liveries on the units. I am trying to have a variety of stock by now modelling FGW & GWR as opposed to always buying freight locos. Your GWR 158 looks fantastic and it's really tempting me to buy one in the new year. Bachmann have done a brilliant job with the new 158s. Have you started building the new depot yet? Can't wait to see it and see the new base for these units.

The new announcement of the new 143s is on the Realtrack Class 143 & 144 thread. Running numbers and liveries are as follows:

143603 GWR Green

143612 FGW Local Lines

143617 GWR Green

143620 GWR Green

143621 FGW Local Lines

They are due for delivery either 2020 or 2021 from what I can gather by Charlie's posts.

Keep up the good work.

Hope this helps.

Kind Regards,

Danny.

I've just had a sift through and found it to have a look at myself. Very good news as the FGW blue ones are getting rather expensive, adding more into the mix would do a world of good!
The GWR green is also a much welcomed addition, I have one in the paint shop at the moment going green so I'll have one soon hopefully but of course will support Charlie in his release of them too by most likely buying one of each for the West Fleet depot.
Seeing GWR green start coming out is very nice, modelling world is keeping up! Just need to see the Bachmann Class 150 in the green now.

Thanks dude

Sorry that will be me asking loads of questions. Glad you managed to find the comment posted by Charlie.

You will have to post some photos of the GWR 143 that your respraying when it's finished, I do like the GWR Green, it's an excellent colour. Yes it looks as though I have started modelling GWR at the most appropriate time what with the Hornby HSTs & IEPs, the announcement of new FGW & GWR 143s and the forthcoming release of Bachmann 150/2 as well as the GWR 158 which has just arrived with retailers. I couldn't have chosen a better time really. I have never bought a Realtrack model before so I am excited to say the least about the new batch of 143s, as I missed the original batch in 2013/2014 because I wasn't a member of this site and missed advertisements and the announcement on other sites too. I am just hoping that when the new 143s arrive, they arrive around a time when not much else that I want to buy is also due for release. Ideally I would like at least one each in livery, so one FGW and one GWR at least. So hoping that I can afford two, maybe more if I have the money.

The Bachmann GWR 150 hasn't got a release date/estimate yet but I did hear that it could be Q4 2020 or possibly Q1 2021.

Keep up the excellent work.

Kind Regards,

Danny.
