Class 37 Loco Group broaden their horizons!

Good morning Ruggedpeak

Yes we are getting a reasonable allocation of  both versions of the 37012 model, sound and not sound. 32-790A & 32-790ADS

Also we shall be getting both versions of 37032  as well hopefully next month  32-775SD & 32-775SDDS.

If anyone wants any of these please get in touch at Sales@c37lg.co.uk.

The only issue we might have is that the group only has a small credit limit, and I'm not 100% sure how Bachmann will post the models to me, they might send a small amount of each, or a larger amount of one. I will request the former, but it still doesn't always work out, as the warehouse will be extremely busy during this period.

Also ideally we want to shift some stock before they arrive,  our loco allocation is quite small at the moment ( thanks to those who have supported us recently), but we do have a large amount of freightliner outer & inner flats, plus MK2F's

We do have various other MK2F's feel free to browse, and then hopefully purchase.

Good evening everyone

A  small box of models landed on my doorstep today, with a few older but seemingly popular locos. I'm only buying in small numbers at the moment, as I don't want too much stock before my two large quantities of 37012 & 37032 arrive hopefully next month.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163621488317?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649  32-788 (37284)  £123

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163621487064?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649   32-781B  (37041)  £123

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163621486454?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649   31-661DS  (47346)  £191

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153432186379?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649   32-819   (47814)  £123

On a different note, I have now got both BAA's in stock, but be warned the 38-352B   £35.65  https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163580783563?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 in railfreight red, are now out of stock in the Bachmann warehouse. I only have these six left.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153432158644?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649  38-353   £36.05.

Many thanks for your recent support, with the MK2F's, it's been much appreciated

Cheers

Philip.

Good evening everyone

Just to keep you all in the loop, this  Saturday I will be on tour,  at the Mid Norfolk Railway with the group's sales stands. This is my favourite part of the job that I do, seeing the customers face to face to give that personal touch.

The following Saturday I shall be at the Great Central Railway, so if you are attending either of these events, please introduce yourself, as I really like to know where our goods have been winging there way to.

Due to the galas, I will be posting orders on Thursday evening rather than the usual Friday, as I've got so much to get ready for the next day.  Any items that are only available in small quantities which end on eBay within the next two weeks, will not be relisted, due to the fact I like to give the stand a chance to make us some money. Please feel free to get them before they  possibly disappear.

Many thanks for anyone who has purchased anything from us recently because of these posts. You all have been fantastic.

Cheers

Philip

Good evening everyone

Thanks to the excellent service from the group's Bachmann reps, I've been informed that I shall be receiving our delivery of 32-790A and 32-790DS  (37012 Loch Rannoch in Large Logo ), sometime in the next week or so. It's being prepared by the warehouse staff now, the only downside is that  32-790A has over sold, and all retailers will probably not get all the numbers they have ordered. It looks like we we will only get twenty four of the forty we requested.

Some of this is also due to the fact the group has a small credit limit, and we don't want to over stretch our financial resources. I have got eight pre-orders, giving us only sixteen available to go on our eBay shop.

As you guys have been so good to the group, I'm giving you the chance of making sure that you guarantee your model, it will be a first come first served basis, please email me at colewallace5@sky.com if this cracking looking model is your cup of tea.

Also I will be receiving my first batch of 32-775DS,  (37032 Mirage in Railfreight grey )this is only four to start with, with a further twenty eight to come, once our balance is clear. The sound version, unfortunately isn't due until later in the year.

The two 57's are also due in the next few weeks as well 57302 & 57312

Cheers

Philip

Morning everyone

After a successful two week tour at the MNR & GCR, we still have a few models left, I've relisted two 32-392  ( 37688) for £117.50 plus P&P.

The main news is our first allocation of 370`12's plus 37032 have arrived.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153449440842?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649  32-790A  ( 37012) £144.45, don't forget  that this might be our only allocation of these models.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163646932495?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649  32-790ADS  (37012 SOUND) £220.95

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163646932495?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649  32-775SD  (37032 ) £152.95, Our second allocation should arrive within the next couple of weeks, I've got another twenty six coming, but several people have shown an interest, if you want one please let me know.

Cheers

Hello everyone

Many thanks to you all if you have purchased one of our recent class 37 models.

I've had to reduce the amount of sound 37012 on eBay to five https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163646932495?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

We might not now be getting our further allocation of fifteen, as these too have sold out in the warehouse. A regular customer has requested six, and because he has been absolutely brilliant for us this year, I can't refuse.

If you want one from us, I really wouldn't wait.

Cheers

Philip

Good evening everyone

I'm very sad to say, that I will not be receiving any extra 37012's.

Due to some changes in customer requirements, I have been able to list  two non-sound Loch Rannoch's on our eBay site.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163662209956?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

Also I have two sound https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163646932495?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

Unfortunately once they have gone, they have gone, so please don't hang about if you want one from us.

The start of May will see me on the road again, with the group's sales stand, starting  at the KWVR ( Saturday only) & Swanage the following week ( Friday & Saturday). I will have one of each 37012 version which I've kept aside  for the sales stand.

I should be getting my final allocation of 32-755SD (37032) next week, along with both 57302 & 57312. I'll keep you all updated.

Cheers

Hello everyone

It's a bit of sad news I have to add today. Please read the press release below, more in-depth details will be announced very soon.

Press Release

PROJECT 3-60 APPEAL

The Class 37 Loco Group, owners of EE type 3 D6703 (37003), have had to delay and review their project to return their locomotive, D6703, to original 1960 condition after the discovery of a major flaw in the power unit fitted to the locomotive.

Technical Officer, Mike Millward, explains;

“Our contractors at UKRL were preparing the power unit for rebuild when they found, what they initially thought was bad water staining on one of the crank bearing surfaces. Further investigation revealed it is a series of fractures of the bearing surface with deeper cracking evident. Apparently it was from an earlier overheating episode as it was not connected to any of the usual stress points in the crank.

This was completely unexpected, so until we can assess the situation fully, we have suspended work on Project 3-60”

Project 3-60 was intended to return D6703 to as near as built condition for its 60th Anniversary in 2020, including operational steam heat. The Committee of the Group had carefully worked out a funding budget and contingency to complete the project, but this discovery has thrown these plans into disarray.

Mike continued;

“We are investigating options, but all are going to push the budget over what the Group, as a Charity, is willing to spend at present, so we need to plan very carefully”

The Group has now started the Project 3-60 Appeal to help fund this additional unplanned work to help get the oldest privately preserved, original condition Class 37 back into action as soon as possible. Part of the fundraising will see cab rides and driver experience days available, as well as a more permanent commemoration of donation.

“D6703 is owned by a Charitable Trust in perpetuity, therefore we plan to have a plaque naming all donors fitted to the locomotive that will be there as long as the locomotive exists”

Details of the PROJECT 3-60 APPEAL, what is available, how to donate and how to help are now online at www.C37LG.co.uk and via their Facebook pages, Class 37 Loco Group and Project 3-60.

Thank you Eddie

You certainly timed it right two minutes before my cut off time at 18:00.

Some things listed on eBay today including a new green  class 47 model

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163722779092?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649  32-806DS ( D1842 )  £220.95

Unfortunately due to mix up, which is can't be helped as accidents happen, but at the moment we won't be receiving any standard 32-806. My fabulous reps are trying to resolve the situation,  but it is unlikely  I will get any allocation.
