brgmini
Not wanting to sound like a tight fisted old Scrooge, but why are Dogfish ballast wagons so expensive? I've been looking for a pair for my layout for a while now , but can't really justify to myself the cost of these as it amounts to the same as a second hand loco !! Am I missing something here?? Cheers , Kev
RMweb Premium Kris Posted September 3, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 3, 2016 Popular model as it fits many eras, including those that are most popular. Seen all over the UK. Produced in model form only in limited numbers.

Cheers , Kev Presumably you mean the Heljan ones? You could always try one of the Cambrian kits, which cost £7.40 each, excluding wheels & bearings, couplings and paint & transfers..
