What Alco do you have?

Despite what some people think I think, that is all that matters, at the end of the day.

Yes, that's right.

I'm not a rivet counter and I don't look for extra details. I can recognize well detailed brass models.

I think it's a set: locomotives, wagons, scenery... For a layout I like to create an atmosphere. All must be featured at the same level of detail.

Details are important but I think weathering is more important (excellent slow running too).

And the low price of the Atlas, Weaver... products is very attractive.

Nice models! Well done!

I have an old Atlas S-2 in zebra stripes scheme and 1 S-4, 4 RS-1 in blue and yellow ATSF scheme. Great runners!

Next models from my N scale collection: the #4 and #5

The #5 was undecorated.

Yeah, you can't take it apart and build something else with the pieces nowadays...

Edit: sentences usually make more sense if they contain verbs.

Not true. How do you think he designed the set, or I built an Alco, for example?

One of my O scale Alco's - The very hard to find Atlas C424/C425. I'm not sure what happened to the handbrake chain ......  It just needs the numbers and letters removing, to enter service with the Cincinnati Belt & Terminal (tag line: We go round the middle - Not the outside). ......Or could it end up in PC black ?!

Mick.

Never mind that - I've just "liked" yet another Alco!! :O :shout:

Help!! Nurse..!!! :jester:

There's no point even trying to resist.

Much like my ongoing attempts to resist buying a pair of F units that won't fit on my layout, or any other layout that I have space to build will ultimately prove futile.

Ah, yes - now the attraction of F-Units I can understand :sungum:

Why be hard on yourself?? Give in; after all, you NEED the F-Units. ;)
