Dr Gerbil-Fritters
The last couple of afternoons I have seen a bright blue, very clean class 66 sitting on the bridge over Lancaster Road, heading south around 4pmish. The train itself is not visible so I don;t know if it's aggregates or a container train. It doesn't have a dip job yellow nose for a GBRF standard paint scheme and it's too light a shade of blue to be DRS.... Looks very smart, what is it? EddieB
Could it be the new GBRF "Maritime" livery (66727)?

Dr Gerbil-Fritters
Thanks chaps, that certainly looks right - although I can't recall seeing the logo - it is a passing glimpse though as I was driving past at the time so if I see it again I shall look out for the logo Also, how much nicer things look with the small yellow panel
jonny777
Yes, all we need now are pale grey window surrounds and two-tone green bodysides and I could go all misty-eyed and nostalgic.
John Tomlinson
66727 is now into its third week of working 4M29, the 10.23 Felixstowe to Birch coppice, and I think this is the only diagram it has done since being released into traffic in the new scheme. Barring failure it should be on the working again tormorrow, Thursday, and Friday, plus the morning return to Felixstowe on Saturday. Who knows what next week will bring! A couple of pics of the loco at work can be found on my website, https://www.flickr.com/photos/51265696@N03 John.
