When do doors close and where in Hartlepool? That's assuming you're in Hartlepool as so many shows say one place and are somewhere else, e.g. Lincoln show in Newark

...Its only 4 days away!...looking forward to seeing Blackgill with 2 Consett iron ore trains passing each other, I always seem to miss that part of the timetable...Mr Ford (the ownwer) should install a claxon or something so I can scuttle back fom the bar/loo/cafe in time.

Great show, thanks.  Good mix of layouts and trade stands, my two boys had a great time and did I.  Some top class layouts and a broad mix of scales form Z to O.  Came home inspired as usual with this show and not stressed out like some over crowded shows.

Must have been free car parking last year, as now it cost £1:50, but with the economical food prices I guess it was OK.

Shall look forward to next year.

Got a late invite for a ride to Hartlepool and had a good afternoon. Most impressed with Grantham - first time I've seen it 'Live' - and Blackgill

, my second sighting and managed to get a much better view this time, plus the bonus of informative chat with the operating team (insert smiley face). Also had a good chat with Martin Smith, delaying progress with his O gauge Garrett build and made a small purchase from the DLPG guys. Thanks for a very enjoyable afternoon all.

Regards,

John

Excellent show with some very nice layouts. Treated myself to a couple of bargain priced new locos from Loughborough models plus a book from Grosmont books. Best bit of the day was sausage roll, chips and mushy peas in the cafe.......so yeah, all in all a day well spent. Roll on next year, thanks to all involved.
