RMweb Premium Hilux5972 Posted October 13, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 13, 2016 Hi all Not sure if this is the right place but since it's adding detailing to the model. Does anyone know of any suitable figures to add to the Cab of the Hornby R3271 Executive Livery HST? Also I'm guessing for this liveries time period, there would still have been a second man in the cab as well? Cheers all

Mark Saunders
It depends when the manning agreements were changed! Originally it was over 100 mph for double manning and later to 110! The ASLEF conditions of service book for the appropriate year should cover this! Mark Saunders
darrel
Of course it could be a driver instructor and a trainee, or someone route learning or the driver being assesed by his driver team manager.
RMweb Gold russ p Posted October 15, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 15, 2016 Don't they have stupid names for traction inspectors these days! Mind in the old days men were prompted to inspectors because of their knowledge of rules and traction. If there is a downside to the decent money the footplate pays these days it's the idiots the job attracts , these people come from other careers such as teaching and banking to name a couple, once passed out they find they don't like the shifts and end up being promoted to some stupid title that toc's gave dreamt up to avoid using a BR term. Once in these jobs they then start picking on traincrew for petty little misdemeanours that normal people wouldn't give a dam about and so morale goes down often to the delight of the again non railway senior managers. Thankfully my company isn't like that
