cromptonnut
Is this Hattons way of telling us that it's going to be a bad winter? As it's not due until Q1 2018 I'm guessing this winter will be ok and the next one not then.

darren01
Will the price stay the same, as it becoming a bit of a pain when pre ordering that you find out that the model has gone up by the time they get near to the shops.

classy52
Hi, Which pair would best suite from 2014 onwards? I'm thinking the Network Rail Black ex-Class 45 or would it be Network Rail Black ex-Class 40...or it doesn't matter? I want to pre-order a pair but don't know much about snowploughs thus need to order the correct pair for a modern image layout from 2014. Cheers. Hi, Generally, the Class 40 'pairs' run together as do the ex-Class 45, so either H4-BH-009/10 and H4-BH-011/2 are suitable duos. The four Network Rail Beilhacks we are producing are viewable Here. RMweb Gold Hattons Dave Posted June 1, 2017 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted June 1, 2017 Hi all,We've now received the final CADs for each model and these are shown below. As with our other projects we're pleased with the level of details and variations going into these. We've also ensured that sufficient weight will be included to ensure they can be propelled with no issues. As ever, click the images for BIG versions. Captions are underneath detailing which wagons are represented by which CAD. More details / variations to order can be found on the website Here. RMweb Gold Hattons Dave Posted June 27, 2017 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted June 27, 2017 Hi all, Following on from the final CADs we showed a few weeks ago, we've now received a fully 3D printed sample of H4-BH-001 using the same CAD files. We will be using this to check all major dimensions and to get a "feel" for how the model will look once produced. We're really happy with the progress made so far and can't wait to share more with you all. As ever, clicking the images will bring up bigger versions for your perusal. Cheers,Dave

RMweb Gold Roy Langridge Posted June 28, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 28, 2017 Were these kinds of snowploughs used by West Coast Railways? Two were allocated to Mossend when I believe WCRC had the contract for Scotland, but I couldn't fund any photographic evidence. Roy

kevblokey
Paul, would the plough blades have be modified in anyway to work over 3rd rail? I'm trying to decipher this from the pics, but viewing them on a mobile, it is difficult to do so.
RMweb Gold Hattons Dave Posted July 31, 2017 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted July 31, 2017 Paul, would the plough blades have be modified in anyway to work over 3rd rail? I'm trying to decipher this from the pics, but viewing them on a mobile, it is difficult to do so. A very small part of the plow blade itself was removed to allow running over sections where 3rd rail is present. The blades themselves have been slightly modified multiple times during their lives depending on where they are being used. We are developing the models with the blades in as built condition so that any desired modifications can be made by the modeller. The Ghost of IKB
If only the springs and axle boxes were available separately , probably impossible i know, but they would look great on a Bachmann 40, a big upgrade on the low profile mouldings on the loco.
