Will the price stay the same, as it becoming a bit of a pain when pre ordering that you find out that the model has gone up by the time they get near to the shops.

Most places will still honour pre-order prices.

Hi all,

Thanks again for the posts and information - we've got our own research well underway but everything above is useful too (and also a great read!).

Paul, could you possibly get in touch regarding the images above? I can't share my personal 'work email' on here (nor can I PM) but if you could drop an email to the info@hattons.co.uk address or give me a call (same office number) it would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Dave

Any updates?

Hi,

The CAD is under development for these currently and as soon as there is something physical to show it'll be uploaded here.

Cheers,

Dave

Hi,

Which pair would best suite from 2014 onwards?

I'm thinking the Network Rail Black ex-Class 45 or would it be Network Rail Black ex-Class 40...or it doesn't matter?

I want to pre-order a pair but don't know much about snowploughs thus need to order the correct pair for a modern image layout from 2014.

Cheers.

Hi,

Generally, the Class 40 'pairs' run together as do the ex-Class 45, so either H4-BH-009/10 and H4-BH-011/2 are suitable duos.

The four Network Rail Beilhacks we are producing are viewable Here.

Cheers,

Dave

Hi all,

We've now received the final CADs for each model and these are shown below. As with our other projects we're pleased with the level of details and variations going into these. We've also ensured that sufficient weight will be included to ensure they can be propelled with no issues.

As ever, click the images for BIG versions. Captions are underneath detailing which wagons are represented by which CAD. More details / variations to order can be found on the website Here.

Cheers,

Dave

Hi all,

Following on from the final CADs we showed a few weeks ago, we've now received a fully 3D printed sample of H4-BH-001 using the same CAD files.

We will be using this to check all major dimensions and to get a "feel" for how the model will look once produced.

We're really happy with the progress made so far and can't wait to share more with you all.

As ever, clicking the images will bring up bigger versions for your perusal.

Cheers,

Dave

Paul, would the plough blades have be modified in anyway to work over 3rd rail? I'm trying to decipher this from the pics, but viewing them on a mobile, it is difficult to do so.

A very small part of the plow blade itself was removed to allow running over sections where 3rd rail is present.

The blades themselves have been slightly modified multiple times during their lives depending on where they are being used.

We are developing the models with the blades in as built condition so that any desired modifications can be made by the modeller.

Cheers,

Dave

Few close ups from DRS Open Day 2016. I couldn't get far enough back for my camera to get a full side on view, but they offer some useful detail.
