Hi

Nice

I am at moment building a shunting yard

but the thing with your type of track plan,  it looks ok

But

when the engine comes in from the wide world, it arrives engine first !

but with no runaround it cant get round the wagons to depart Engine first

Hi

Not so easy

I live south of France

not much in the way of opportunity here to show,   and UK is a bit far

even buying stuff is a 600 KM drive there and back

and as its UK outline  e*mail is the only shop i have

mind you the one i use is good,  place an order and it here in 3 days normaly

this layout so far is made out of odds and sods in my many scrap boxes,   track is a mixture of Hornby and Peco

Points are Hornby dead frog,  08 passes ok  but the 0-4-0 (smoky Joe) is a waste of time

wired as DCC , Hornby Elite/Rail Master  and Hornby point decoder

Layout is called  Mill Lane

Just catching up on my reading, so first time I’ve seen the Signal Box and repaint.  I do like the way this layout fits in the different elements, and I enjoy the video.  Thanks for sharing them.
After a lot of looking around I bought a Ratio Goods Shed like the one here as it looked the part for a project I had in mind, but in the end decided it was just too big for my space, so have just sold it on (although it still shows in some of my plans) -  which I mention really to show how well yours fits such a compact layout.

Thanks Keith. I recently also replaced the insulfrog 3-way point with an electrofrog model to better enable short wheel-base locos to potter around the layout without stalling! I fitted two Gaugemaster aouto-frog circuits to automatically control the polarity...
